Meet The Team

As the owner of Champion Plumbing & Heating Ltd., Matt is involved with all aspects of the business. From managing our team and handling contracts with suppliers, to hands on practical installation, surveying and promotion and networking. ​ With 16 years’ experience in the plumbing, heating and mechanical services industry, Matt has worked on large multimillion pound projects with tight programmes and strict health and safety procedures.

He is also extremely competent with small individual dwellings enjoying building those great customer relationships. He brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge across a wide range of diverse projects.

Matt is the driving force behind Champion’s ethos, their dedication to customer service, great value for money and outstanding workmanship.

Lauren is our Office Manager and has been with the business since we opened.

Her background mainly includes working within education and training providers, and the skills she has gained throughout her time working with all types of customers means her attention to detail, customer service approach, and her ability to give relevant, clear and friendly advice and guidance makes her a great contact for all clients to communicate with.

Lauren has been the main point of contact in the office for clients and customers, and she has built up some brilliant working relationships with local businesses.

She has gained experience within the industry during her time in the role, and is the main point of contact for employee care and health & safety.

Lauren also runs our Lettings Agency – Champion Lettings & Property Management. We manage a number of properties across Cambridgeshire, and help landlords maintain their tenancies and keep up with annual safety checks.

James is our Plumbing & Heating Apprentice Engineer.

James recently started a 4 year Plumbing & Domestic Heating qualification at West Suffolk College studying the theory behind being a qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer, as well as gaining valuable hands on experience from our engineers out in the field.

We are really impressed with his current progress and look forward to being part of his journey into a successful career.
